Our goal in Women’s Ministry is to help women GROW in their relationship with God and their relationships with each other, to pursue God’s purpose for us as women in the work of the church, both in our local body of Dayspring Christian Church and in the world. In all of our pursuits we want to share Jesus with those who do not yet know Him. Come join us as we seek to encourage and inspire one another, reminding each other of the bigger picture, that we are Jesus’ hands and feet. Like Esther, God has put us here ‘for such a time as this.’
Wedding and Baby Showers
This is the group that coordinates, plans, and organizes the showers for weddings and new babies born to church families. It’s a great way to meet new people, show love through service, and if you have a knack for organizing, decorating, or just want to help out, you would be welcome! Want to be a part of this ministry and these celebrations? Tamara is looking for women to help in any or all of the following ways: Planner/Co-Planner: Like to come up with "themes" and organize the details of a shower? This area is for you! Tamara will reach out to you when there is an upcoming shower to be planned - you can choose to be involved in the ones that work with your schedule. Helpers: Planning isn't your thing, but you like to help create the decorations, set up, take down, errands, etc...let Tamara know! Food: A number of needs in this area. Making an item (snack, dessert, etc), prep of food the day of the shower, monitoring food during the celebration - any or all of these areas, we can use you! Communication: This individual would create the invitation and get it to Karen for the bulletin and email communication. Devotions: Creating and giving a devotion at the shower for the mom-to-be or Bride-to-be. Funeral Dinner Coordination
A ministry that plays a vital role in wrapping its arms around those who are going through a difficult time in their lives. Betty Stroh is the Coordinator for this ministry and oversees the coordination of all the food and decor in the fellowship hall for the family and all the attendees after the funeral. If you would like to plug into any of these areas to provide comfort and support to those who need it most.
Post Surgery, New Baby, and Other Meal Deliveries
Part of being the hands and feet of the church is to offer practical things- this ministry provides that in a warm meal or freezer meals for those going through various situations. This is something that provides an easy but effective way to love on our church family! If you would like to get more information on how to be a part of this, or you know someone who has a need for meals- please contact one of the Elders’ wives and always keep an eye out for needs coming through Daysie!
Wednesday Night Chefs
Wednesday Night Dinner Fellowship has become a wonderful time of fellowship and great food! We generally see 65-90 people come to join in for food and fellowship each week. While this growth is **FABULOUS**, it is also getting hard with the rotation of Chefs currently making dinner. We desperately need to add another 5-6 Chefs to our rotation. If you love to cook or just want to give it a try, please contact me, so I can add you to the needs list. The coordinator, Betsy Sampson, is happy to provide recipes, shop your groceries, and mentor in any way! We would really love to have enough people, that each could cook once or twice a year!
Moms in Prayer
Moms in Prayer group for moms in all stages, preschool through college. We will meet every Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 at the church. Childcare will not be provided, but children are welcome to attend if they can entertain themselves.
Thursday Morning Prayer
Empty Nesters and Beyond
This is a women’s group for those who are empty nesters who are new to it, have been for a bit, or have been for a while. Basically, a women's group for women who have gone through the many stages of life who can support and pray for each other. They do a short devotion every meeting and then fellowship, and pray. This is a great time to spend with other women in the same life stage! They meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Panera on Harmony.
Moms of Young Children Discipleship (Begins in Spring 2026)
A new discipleship ministry to engage our moms of young children in the church. Being a mom with young children can feel isolating and overwhelming- but it doesn’t have to! This group will meet and study, fellowship, pray together, and create a community of moms that can do life together, however that may look in this busy season!
Creative and Media Team
This ministry uses creativity and technology to promote the Gospel and connect with communities in Northern Colorado. Do you have the talent to produce media, take pictures, work on projects, and use technology to benefit the church? Or, are you able to organize and communicate information well? Use your talents to share the good news!
Women's Mentorship Program
This ministry is for women looking for intensive one-on-one mentorship or to become a mentor to a sister in Christ. This will require a commitment to your mentor/mentee and a beautiful way to engage in creating a spiritual legacy!
Social Events Coordinator
Our social events could use someone or a few someones to take on the position of Social Events Coordinator(s) for Women’s Ministry. This would entail creating a yearly events calendar, creating upcoming events flyers, sending emails to women’s ministry groups, putting the events on, working within the budget, and engaging women with fun activities to deepen relationships through fellowship.
Bible Study Facilitators
Are you interested in facilitating a Bible study or study group? This is an opportunity to lead Bible studies throughout the year, either at the church or in your home. This is a great opportunity to deepen your faith by teaching, as when we teach, we learn even more! (To be a part of this ministry, it is imperative to fill out and complete the teacher evaluation form from the elders and to be aligned with the church’s doctrine fully.)
